About the Role
To provide administrative support and ensure smooth and efficient office operations at Prairieland Dairy.
Office communication – greeting visitors, answering/transfer telephone calls, taking/relaying messages, and send/receive email correspondence to/from other officesÂ
Business correspondence - pick-up, sort, and manage mail/deliveries; email and send necessary documents/reports to other officesÂ
Scale trucks in/out dailyÂ
Keep office clean, organized, and functionalÂ
Assist with personnel requests and file managementÂ
Order supplies and inventoryÂ
Rental property management/assistance - communicate with property managers, assist with walk throughs, and coordinate repairsÂ
Plan office celebrations/meetingsÂ
Miscellaneous errands, as needed Â
Other duties as assignedÂ
The receptionist will be expected to be in the office five days a week, M-F. Hours are 8a-430p. Hourly pay depends on skills and experience. This full-time position will be eligible to enroll in Company healthcare plans upon completion of 2 months, 401k eligible with company match upon completion of 6 months, and eligible for paid vacation and group life insurance at 12 months of employment

We produce more than137,000 pounds or 16,000 gallons of milk per day
We have yearly on-farm auditing of animal handling and management practices to ensure animal practices are current and top-notch

Nutrition
2 different rations made up of a combination of corn or corn silage and different varieties of hay, plant-based proteins and vitamins and minerals
Each ration is specific to cow’s requirements for the amount of milk she is producing
Cows are fed once per day which will last them 24 hours

Cow Comfort
Cows live in free stall barns that are climate controlled to ensure maximum comfort
Cows lay on sand to keep them clean and help keep them cool or warm depending on time of year
Cows are free to roam about, eat, drink, sleep and chat with their other cow friends
